High Wycombe FAQs for canopies and verandasDo I need planning permission for my veranda in High Wycombe or the surrounding areas?

No, canopies fall under the area of "Permitted developments" and are unlikely to need planning permission. However in a few special cases planning permission may be needed - we are very experienced with High Wycombe planning requirements and are happy to advise if fall under this rare category.

Can I install my own veranda?

Yes, of course you can! all of our roof kits come complete with everything you need (including instructions) - and all are delivered direct to your door. We prepare every canopy to ensure it is ready to be installed, no cutting or drilling is needed - it is all done for you in advance!

How much will my veranda cost?

You should be very pleasantly surprised by the cost or your garden canopy. Just measure the width and projection of the area you would like to cover and give us a call on 01494 444666 or fill in the quote form opposite ! It won't take long for us to get back to you - and it won't take long for us to deliver and/or install it either!

Colours

And of course our canopies and verandas are available in a very wide range of colour's including the High Wycombe favourites of Grey, Anthracite grey, Chartwell Green, Painswick, Duck Egg Blue, Light oak and Oak.

Weather and our experience

High Wycombe high, steep sided valleys and rolling hilltops bring with them both great beauty but a potentially high exposure to a range of weather conditions.  With weather facing home improvements – such as verandas, windows, doors, conservatories, roofs and a whole lot more, you need a company with considerable local experience that can help you asses the thermal, technical and design considerations that are unique to our locality.  At Bahama we have well over forty years' experience of local conditions, local planning requirements and local needs.
